Rosie has been giving Brooklyn its glow for over a decade — out of a small Midwood studio, with a steady hand and a nose for shade-matching.

Spray Tanning by Rosie started small — Rosie tanning friends and friends of friends out of her home, mostly before weddings, bat mitzvahs, and trips. Word spread quickly. Brides told brides. Vacationers told their roommates. A few years in, the “side thing” turned into a full-time studio in Midwood.
What never changed is the part that made it work in the first place: every appointment is hands-on, every shade is custom-blended, and Rosie adjusts the spray as she goes — lighter where you need it lighter, deeper where you want contour. The formula is vegan, paraben-free, and gentle enough for sensitive skin and pregnant clients.
The studio is open six days a week. Friday appointments wrap an hour before sunset; the studio is closed Friday night through Saturday night and on Jewish holidays.

The formula
Kind to your skin. Honest about what’s in it.
Rosie uses a DHA-based spray solution that’s vegan, paraben-free, and free of harsh chemicals. DHA reacts with the top layer of your skin to build color naturally — there’s no UV, no tanning bed, and no sun damage involved.
Because everything is custom-blended and applied by hand, the finish reads as a real tan, not a uniform bronze. It fades evenly over 7 – 10 days.
Shomer Shabbat
The studio observes Shabbat and chaggim.
Sunday through Thursday the studio is open from 9 AM to 8 PM. Friday appointments end at least one hour before sunset — please call early in the day to grab a slot.
Closed Friday night through Saturday night and on Jewish holidays. Motzei Shabbat appointments may be available in the winter months — call to ask.
