Exfoliate and shave 24 hours before your appointment. On the day of, come in with clean, dry skin — no lotions, deodorant, perfume, or makeup. Wear loose, dark clothing and avoid tight straps or jewelry.
Your tan will continue to develop for 8 hours after the appointment. Try not to sweat, get wet, or wear tight clothing during that window. After that, rinse off in a quick lukewarm shower — no soap on the first rinse — and pat dry.
Most clients enjoy a beautiful tan for 7 – 10 days. Keep your skin moisturized daily, avoid long hot showers, and skip exfoliating products to make it last as long as possible.
Yes. The solution is vegan, paraben-free, and free of harsh chemicals. It's safe for sensitive skin and for pregnant women. The active ingredient is DHA, which reacts with the top layer of your skin — there is no UV exposure involved.
No. Rosie custom-blends a shade for your skin tone so the result looks natural, not orange. If you've had a bad spray tan elsewhere, this will not be that.
Whatever you're comfortable in. Most clients wear a bathing suit, underwear, or nothing at all — it's entirely your call. Disposables are available if you'd prefer.
No. Rosie is shomer Shabbat — the studio is closed Friday evening through Saturday night and on Jewish holidays. Friday appointments end at least one hour before sunset.
Yes. In addition to the Midwood studio, Rosie sees clients in Deal, New Jersey by appointment — especially for brides, bridal parties, and event work during the summer season.
