By using this website or booking an appointment, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site or book a service. Our booking, deposit & cancellation policy and privacy policy are part of these terms.

Who we are

Spray Tanning by Rosie(“Rosie,” “we,” “us”) is a one-person spray-tan studio run by Rosie, based in Midwood, Brooklyn, NY 11229. You can reach us by call or text at (917) 326-0303.

Using this website

This website gives information about our services, prices, hours and aftercare. It does not take bookings, payments or create accounts. You agree to use it lawfully and not to interfere with it, scrape it in bulk, or try to access parts of it that aren’t public.

We work to keep the information accurate, but prices, hours and services can change. What Rosie confirms with you when you book is what applies. Articles and guides on the site are general information, not medical advice.

The site may link to other websites, such as social media. We aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

Booking & services

Appointments are made by call or text only. An appointment is confirmed when Rosie confirms it with you. Deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, late arrivals, mobile visits and payment are covered in the booking policy.

Spray tan results vary from person to person. Skin type, prep, aftercare, skin products, medications, sweat, water and how closely you follow the aftercare instructions all affect how the color develops and how long it lasts. We can’t guarantee a particular shade or duration.

Health disclosures

Before your appointment, you agree to tell Rosie about:

• any allergies or sensitivities, including to cosmetics or fragrance;
• skin conditions, broken skin, rashes or recent skin treatments;
• pregnancy or breastfeeding;
• medications or medical conditions that affect your skin or breathing.

Ask Rosie about a patch test if you’re unsure. If you have any medical concern, please check with your doctor or dermatologist before booking. Rosie may decline or postpone a service if she believes it isn’t a good idea that day.

Assumption of risk

Spray tanning applies a DHA-based cosmetic solution to the skin. By booking, you understand and accept that:

• the solution can cause skin irritation or an allergic reaction in some people, even if they have tanned before;
• DHA can stain clothing, fabric, upholstery, bedding and accessories, especially before your first rinse;
• a spray tan is not sunscreen and does not protect you from the sun;
• results vary, and uneven fading can happen if aftercare isn’t followed.

You agree to follow the prep and aftercare instructions you are given. If you have a reaction, rinse with water and contact your doctor, and please let Rosie know.

Minors

Appointments for anyone under 18 should be booked by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on the minor’s behalf. Ask Rosie whether a parent needs to be present for the appointment.

Photos & social media

Rosie may take before-and-after photos to check results, but she will only post photos of you, or share them anywhere, with your permission. You can say no, and you can change your mind later: ask and she will take down a photo she controls. If you share photos of your tan and tag us, you’re giving us permission to re-share that post.

Limitation of liability

To the extent New York law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as missed events, photo reshoots, or stained clothing or furnishings, arising from a service or from using this website. Our total liability for any claim connected to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct. The website is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

Intellectual property

The text, photos, logos and design of this website belong to Spray Tanning by Rosie or are used with permission. You may share links to our pages, but please don’t copy, republish or use our content or photos for commercial purposes without written permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York, unless the law requires otherwise. Before going that far, please call or text Rosie: most things can be sorted out with a conversation.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The version posted when you book applies to that booking.
